When an animal is already hurt, caring for the wound should not create more discomfort for them.  MaxiVet™ Wound & Burn Solution was developed to provide effective wound care and microbial control while remaining gentle on the sensitive tissue surrounding an injury.
MaxiVet™ uses pure hypochlorous acid to help reduce unwanted microorganisms within the wound environment without relying on the harsher chemical profiles associated with some traditional antiseptics.
That makes MaxiVet™ particularly suited to wound care where both microbial control and tissue compatibility matter.

MaxiVet™ Wound & Burn Solution is ideal for:

  • Cuts and grazes
  • Scratches and abrasions
  • Minor burns
  • Superficial wounds
  • Bite and scratch wounds as part of appropriate veterinary care
  • Irritated or compromised skin
  • Wound cleansing
  • Appropriate post-procedure wound hygiene
  • Areas vulnerable to microbial contamination
  • Everyday animal first-aid wound care

Step 1 – Trim fur around the affected area if necessary and gently remove visible debris.
Step 2 – Spray Ultrapure® HOCL Maxivet™ Wound & Burn Spray directly onto the wound, burn or irritated skin until evenly moistened.
Step 3 – Allow the solution to remain on the area. Do not rinse.
Step 4 – Reapply during dressing changes or three times daily. Alternatively apply as advised by a veterinary professional. In acute serious cases it can be applied every 2 hours.

A wound needs to be kept clean, without adding more pain and discomfort. But the tissue surrounding that wound is already damaged, inflamed or sensitive.
MaxiVet™ provides antimicrobial support while remaining gentle on that sensitive and compromised tissue.
The solution is being applied directly to an area where healthy tissue, damaged tissue and microorganisms exist side by side. MaxiVet wound care targets microbes without negatively affecting healthy cells.
